Driver CPC Expenses Claim Form – P87

For those drivers who are self employed the cost of the CPC training just goes down as a cost to the business as you would expect. However for drivers who are employed but are having to fork out for the training themselves they need to submit the cost to the inland revenue as an expense by using the P87 form which can be downloaded by clicking on the link below.

HMRC P87 Form

This will result in you being given tax relief on the amount you paid. If you have are claiming for expenses from the previous tax year this will be paid in a lump sum. I hope this is of some use to you and please share this with your fellow drivers on Facebook and Twitter as I’m sure they will appreciate it.

Thanks

Chris Allen
